Sociocast was a predictive social analytics API that delivered analytics on different audience patterns. These analytics allowed companies to customize their web and mobile product experiences to any audience.
As a startup, Sociocast hired Method to create an identity and product UI language that could be easily implemented and extended as they continued to develop their product.
Sociocast pivoted in 2011 to focus on a webapp as their key touchpoint to appeal to wider range of non-developer customers. During this pivot, Sociocast was renamed Velos.io and was then acquired by AOL in 2015.
